LineShare 3.3.1 - software makes it possible for several applications/tools to use the same serial port(s) simultaneously. It can detect the type of incoming calls and route the call to the proper software. For fax modems, LineShare can employ the "adaptive answering" feature supported with many modern modems, i.e. the automatic detection of the incoming call type (fax or data). LineShare can be used with any modem and with any types of incoming calls, if there is a method to detect the type of a call. Those methods (algorithms) are programmed using the LineShare scripting language.
